Dr. Gat holds a DMD degree and graduated first in her class, with Dean's Honors, from Tel Aviv University. She is the first Israeli to be awarded the prestigious status of Diplomate of the American Board of Longevity Medicine (ABLM).This follows her completion of the global longevity medicine program at The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, where she earned an International Certification in Functional & Longevity Medicine. During her 10 years as a physician in the field of aesthetic medicine, Dr. Gat formulated her unique treatment philosophy. This was achieved through five years of intensive research into longevity and an in-depth understanding of the mechanisms of aging. These insights led her to create a revolutionary change in the field, bringing a new therapeutic concept to the forefront: Skin Longevity. Shira holds a PhD in Biotechnology Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and completed postdoctoral training in Cancer Immunotherapy at Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining Factor X,Ohad served as the CEO of caVos Biotech, where he led the company’s Seed funding round (supported by the Israel Innovation Authority) and saw it named one of the most promising startups of 2024 by The Marker magazine. Ohad managed cancer-therapeutic antibody development projects for several years at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies. Before that, he was the first employee at RondinX, a company that developed computational capabilities for analyzing metagenomic data and patient information to understand bacterial states across various body systems. RondinX was acquired in 2017 by BiomX. Ohad earned his PhD from the Weizmann Institute of Science under the supervision of Professor Moshe Oren, a recipient of the Israel Prize.
